Hamburger Anyone?

It's getting warmer and so are the grills.  This was a beautiful warm week.  People are planting their flowers/gardens, cleaning up their yards, And getting the grills going. While sitting out on out porch we could smell grills going somewhere almost every night.  It made me hungry and wanting to yell, "I'll take mine medium well!"

My son and his wife got me lots of fabric this past Christmas and one of the stack of fat quarters was food.

This week I got the idea as to what to make with some.
Do you remember Mr. Whimpy?

(I could't help drawing him)
and here....All layered up.

I fussy cut 1 inch squares of hamburgers for a boarder.
I quilted randomly in the center and in the ditch, in the boarder.

"I will pay you Tuesday,
for a Hamburger Today"

Ah, but what do you need for Grilling?
How about potholders?

I made these for my Daughter-in-law.

Then I made myself one.

(I need to make a few more for myself, perhaps an apron too)

So, what are you working on?
I hope you are enjoying the weather and your hamburgers on the grill.

HAPPY QUILTING EVERYONE!!
