First, I want to share the birthday gift I got from my sister-in-law. Aren't they cute?
We all brought our machines along and sewed together.
First, Linda Aarant demonstrated how to make a Hot Dog Pillowcase. I thought "huh? Its a regular pillowcase." But now after seeing how it was made, I understand the name. Also, learned how to hide a raw edges in a seam. (Anyone interested in the tutorial, please let me know and I will email it to you. For some reason it would not copy on my blog)
This is mine. 😆
Next, Eileen Carr demonstrated how to make Walker Totes.
This lady made some using denim fabric and pockets of jeans. Then ties are from men's hankies.
This is Eileen Carr and one that she made.
We each made a Walker tote then we donated them to our local Nursing Home.
Some made plain, some fancy, even applique pockets.
We spent the whole day together. Such fun, I am sure they will all get a lot of use out of them.
We also had some beautiful quilts brought in for Show and Tell:
I hope I didn't bore you too much.
Till next time,
HAPPY QUILTING EVERYONE!!!

I would love the directions for the walker totes. Please and Thank you!
I am never bored by pictures of beautiful quilts and other things that people have made. It has helped me to determine my style (scrappy), and it has helped me to see what seems to work and not work. Nancy A: rangerer@sbcglobal.net
