Everyone likes shortcuts and ways to learn ways to make their life easier. I have been asked if I know of any charts or tables that can be used. I dug around and found quite a few. I hope at least one will be helpful to you.
I am sure you all know and seen this one. Yet when someone wants me to quilt a quilt for them or make a quilt for them, their first comment is "about bed size". So I show them this chart:
Then it's, how much backing or batting do I need?
This one comes in handy. When they have doubts as to your figures, I show them this one.
Did you ever want to know how many inches in 3/8 yard when at a store and your and goes blank?
Or how many strips can you cut out of a yard of fabric?
Perhaps your making a Quilt with fat quarters. Here is a good chart to have for a quick reference.

I have a question for the Quilts Quazy Queen. How much yardage is needed to make a twin size 2 color quilt? I need the amount for both colors. i want to make a Jaco's Ladder quilt and want to make sure I have enough fabric so I don't run out and am not able to get more of the 2 fabrics.
HTF and OOP? I'm a newbie to quilting though garment sewing since age 8.Not sure what they mean, but I have my guesses.
