Last year I planned a trip for our club in Missouri and we had a blast. So this year we decided to go the other direction. I contacted the shops 2 months ahead of time and spoke to the owners. (I got the hours of the shop and their complete addresses.) Then 1 week before our trip I called each shop to give them an approximate time to expect us and how many of us were going. First stop, was the "Clarksville Sewing Center". They were such pleasant, happy, energetic girls.
There shop was very neatly decorated.
They specialize in selling Janome and Baby Lock machines. They also have different classes going all the time. We we so excited when each girl gave us a different tutorial on different techniques.

They had another tutorial, but for some reason I cannot download it, sorry.
From here we had lunch at Cracker Barrel.
After that it was off to Trenton, Kentucky to "Quilt and Sew at Golden Theeads".
They too had a tutorial for us showing us an easy way to make the Lemoyne Star using the proper ruler:

Their shop was small but packed full of wonderful items.
The last stop was the "Kentucky Star Quilt Shop" in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Here they had a large shop just full if quilting fabrics, notions and yarn.
Plus a cute little nook to sit and relax.
