You see, my son is getting married on August 1st in PA. So we have a lot to get and organize. It isn't easy, getting it all together living 956 miles away. But my son and his fiancé are troopers and all is getting done.
My problem is my nephew is getting married the next day. (Gonna be a busy weekend) Well, I would like to give him and his wife to be, one of my quilts. But it seems as we each have a different opinion as to which one. We have no idea as to what their colors are. The only thing we do know is he is marrying a Menonite girl. (and she is sweet, a school teacher)
I would truly appreciate your input as to which quilt you think would be appropriate.
First, is:
"Buzz Saw", 79" X 83"
Second, is:
"Proud Honeysuckle" 79" X 79"
Third, is:
"Scrappy Batiks" 72" X 78"
Last but not least...
Forth, is:
"Wonky Stars" 60" X 72"
Ok, these are the four that each one of us picked to give as a wedding present. I only wish I had more time to make a special one just for them. My family says one of these will be perfect.
NOW, which one do you think I should give them?
Thank you all for your help. Now I got lots of table toppers that I am making. Then I need to find a dress. Oh, then to make a silk pouch.
HAPPY QUILTING EVERYONE!

The first one, buzz saw. Great colours and pattern and a nice size too.
I vote for Buzz Saw. However, any one of them would be perfect.
I would give Buzz Saw.
I would say either Buzz Saw or Scrappy Batiks.
I agree, Buzz saw...love the colours. My second choice would be Scrappy Batiks.
I'm with Anna and narrowed it down to Scrappy Batiks or Buzz Saw. :-) I'm sure they will love it, no matter which you choose. Have fun!
These are all great quilts; I think the Proud Honeysuckle sampler would be a very lovely and special gift.
I like buzz saw the best too!
They are all beautiful. The one I would choose is the Wonky Stars. My eyes were drawn to it right away.
I would choose Wonky Stars (though I think your family is right - any of the quilts would be a beautiful gift). I tend to find that the younger generation like brighter colours.
I just did an image search for Mennonite quilts and many of them had stars in them. I'm not sure the Mennonite are into the modern type quilts such as anything wonky. I think I'd choose the second one. That's a very pretty quilt. They're all pretty and I can guarantee almost any you choose she's going to cherish because it is from you and something you made.
I think Wonky Stars. It is modern and bright. A good choice for a young couple.
I think the Proud Honeysuckle is a great way to start off a marriage. Being a sampler of different blocks showing the sampling of different journeys they will make together.
I think the Buzz Saw would be a good choice, enjoy all of the weddings.
Proud Honeysuckle would be my first choice. Second choice would be Buzz Saw. Third choice would be Scrappy Batiks.
I vote scrappy batiks. It is beautiful
oh gosh Jane...I am so bad with this..you know them so much better...all of them are treasures to behold..
