First, I want to give a big thank you to Marian from Seams to be Sew for all her hard work in planning and organizing this hop. We all truly appreciate it.
We had a very rough month here at our house. I had all kinds of ideas and Christmas projects that I wanted to make, still do. But unfortunately, our daughter-in-law's father passed away. He lived 910 miles from us. Her and our son went up right away. We had some things to straighten up here then we followed. I felt so sorry for her. Losing her father then have to organize his house and possessions to sell. I only learned first hand how hard and how time consuming it is. Not living close makes it harder yet.
I did get some embroidery done...I wanted to make a Small blue wall hanging for in our kitchen.
I then trimmed it and put a boarder on to look like a picture frame.
I quilted snow flakes all around the embroidered Angel and then 1/4 inch from the seam in the boarder.
Now please folow me to see all the other creative projects for today:
who once again has graciously given us a $25.00 gift certificate to give away.
Please go to: Seams to be Sew
For the Link to enter, and Good Luck!
I can't wait to see what everyone made, I can never get enough, lol.
Then off to my room, I have lots to do.
I'm so sorry for your daughter-in-law's loss and glad you could be there to help her through a very difficult time. No need to apologize for what you didn't get done. Your angel is gorgeous! Is that your design? Because if it is, you should offer it for sale. I'd buy one!
